Hi all,
Well after an up and down couple of days, moods getting worse and cravings continuing.... i failed, yesterday i cheated and not by having a biscuit or a glass of wine. I all out cheated...
Right up until after lunch i was fine, but as the evening meal dawned, everyone in the house as fed up with my moodiness as i was, i decided to just "f" it and have something i wanted.
So here we go my cheat list to shame myself even more......
Sweet mince pie
Philli and chive mash
3 x potato crochets
Jack daniels sauce
Cherry pie with ice cream
2 x bags of crisps
5 x sponge fingers
4 -5 Vodka lime and lemonade
Micro burger with mayo
2 x bags of crisps
Well i guess if i was gonna cheat i was going all out lol
Okay so today, not only do i feel like poop. In my head i'm okay but my body now hates me with a passion ;)
Back on the diet with a fresh head, so far my mood is still improved and i'm more relaxed, well apart from my body feeling horrid with the junk food overload.
But i guess what i'm saying is yes i have cheated and yes its wasted a few days of weight loss and i feel like poop, so it wasn't worth it in that sense, but we all will have an off day and cheat at some point. Its what you do after you cheat that makes the difference.

Babbling is the first sign of human language.[3] These vocalizations do not generally contain meaning or refer to anything specific. Human infants are not excited or upset when babbling, but instead they will babble spontaneously and incessantly only when emotionally calm.

Round 2 - DD7 - A Diet Incite
Morning,
Well yesterday was a struggle, a real struggle. Its easy to get disheartened when the weight loss slows or stops and with only losing 0.25 lbs i was in a mood... all day
Looking back now it seems silly, but when you struggle with food it's tough, sometimes its really tough.
But i struggled through and it was totally worth it.
Today i sleepily stepped on the scales, not expecting much and found a 2 lbs loss!! Thank you "fat fairies"
As today is DD7 i'm going to also update the measurements :)
Okay so:
Starting Weight: - 10st 5.75 lbs
New Weight : - 9st 11.25 lbs
Measurements:
Tummy - (around tummy button) 32.5 inches (-1 inch)
Arm - 11.5 inches (-0.5 inch)
Hips - 36 inches (-2 inches)
Thigh - 21 inches (same)

Round 2 - DD1 - A Diet Incite
Well hello there, im baaack
Maintenance went well weight continued to fluctuate by 1-2lbs depending on what i ate and how much exercise i was doing.
Even though i never lost any more weight on maintenance i did lose a couple of inches here and there from toning.
I have to be honest the last week i was pretty naughty, a little too much takeaways and alcohol ;) but you have to treat yourself now and again lol.
The loading days are over and lets get this party started!!!!!!
So...
Here we are DD1 again. (please note - may contain tantrums and random acts of crying due to hunger and sugar withdrawl )
Starting weight - 10st 5.75
Goal weight - 9st (ish)

MD 33 - A Diet Incite
Well its getting ever nearer to the end...and then beginning of my diet journey!! Im excited to get some more losses on the scales and a neater tighter body.. ooh la la ;)
Im working myself hard this week, as i just dont feel like im pushing it enough....
Soo id like to introduce you to my new best friend.... drum roll please.......

TADA what do you think huh? nice eh
And my other family member...

cause i was using a towel on the floor, and on hard wood floors that really doesnt work for the lower back, pain much!!
This one was a Davina special.. yes davina again lol
Its from argos and its really padded, with some vent holes so breathable too and less than £10 so nice on the pocket.
As for the weights, i was starting light... or so i thought. The weights themselves are only 0.5kg but when i weighed the complete set (weights on the bar) it came in a 2.96kg niiice, feel the burn much?
Pushed myself to try and do more exercise time too, so did 105 mins (90 mins of aerobics + weights and 15 of Yoga)
I Hope everyone is keeping well and goodluck with the weigh ins!!!

Something new - A DvD Review
HI all,
Well as you know the diet is currently in maintenance mode and i am concentrating more and more on fitness and tone.
I got a great review from my bestie Helen on Davina's DVD - Davina Fit. So i thought id give it a go, I'm Zumba mad lately although doing the same routines every day can get a bit boring, and even doing the same kind of exercise can get repetitive so i thought hey lets spice it up a bit.
The DVD was a complete bargain £6 brand new with next day delivery from Amazon. Its not a new DVD in terms of age, it was released in 2010, but the best exercises are hundreds of years old, just think of jumping jacks / star jumps, squats. These are all old but very effective......
Anyway I'm babbling again - back to the review
There are four 30min sections and Yoga Stretch which is 15min approx.
Each section is a different type of exercise:

Each section is a different type of exercise:
- Aerobics Fit
- Top Fit
- Bottom Fit
- Kick Fit
- Yoga Stretch
So far i have done 3 of the 5 sections, in the intro she suggests doing the Yoga after each session, so that's what I'm going to do.
The DVD itself is fun, Davina cracks me up normally, i am a fan already. She makes the DVD fun and you can tell she is genuinely going for it during the exercises.
So lets sum up:
It's cheap and great fun, i have loved this one so much i went back online and bought another single DVD and a box set. Got both (so that 3 dvd's) for less than £10 delivered.
Give them a go, you ca get them used for cheaper than i paid, so if you fancy it go for it. Even if you don't like Davina you will like these I'm sure.
And stretch!!!
Thanks for looking :)

A New Book Review
Hi all,
Since starting the diet i haven't been posting any new book reviews, although i am still as always constantly reading.. i do love my kindle ;)
So here is a list of recent books and some short reviews on each of them.
Books 1-6 of the Black Dagger series written by J.R Ward
Book 1 - Dark Lover
Book 2 - Lover Eternal
Book 3 - Lover Awakened
Book 4 - Lover Revealed
Book 5 - Lover Unbound
Book 6 - Lover Enshrined
Each of the books are written about a different member of the "brotherhood" a league of extraordinary vampires. These books however show a different twist to the life of vampires as we know it. From the first book i was completely engrossed Yes we do have a little sauce and spice through the books, there could be classed as erotic novels as a lot of the context is sex.... never a bad thing ;)
Each book is written from that "brothers" point of view, which makes it more interesting and keeps me turning the pages.
Also the brothers all have great names with a nice little twist, to name a few, Wrath, Phury, Vishous, Rhage you get what i mean.....
Books 1-10 are already out on sale and start from as little as 1p on amazon.
Give them a go, you wont be disappointed, i promise.

MD6 - A Diet Incite
Helloo ..
Well its been an up and down kinda week, ive gained 3lbs and im completely gutted.
I have had a couple of treats like a meal out with a fishbowl cocktail lol. So its my own fault i guess.
Trying to work at getting it back off again but its being stubborn.
Also note to self: wild boar burgers taste like disinfectant, not everything that sounds exotic tastes as good as it sounds ;)
So im gradually upping my calories and vigorously upping my fitness to somewhat no avail.
The best bit about this week has definitely been the addition of my new wheels. I got a bike!!! a real one too, need to get me a more comfy seat though as this one is a little too intimate for my liking...
Will upload a picture tomorrow .... i love my bike.!!
Thats pretty much all my news for this week..
Stay tuned for huge losses.....i hope

DD7 - ADiet Incite
Hello :)
Im one happy girl today!!
So lets get straight to it, weighed myself this morning and down another 1.5lbs so thats a total loss of 11.5lbs i'm getting so close to that first stone!!! excited :)
So did the usual shower etc and got dressed.... in my size 12 skinnys!! i haven't been able to fit in these since i bought them 3.5 years ago!!!
I also bought some clothes in the sale size 10-12 and tried on the jacket expecting it to be too small and its slightly baggy!! the top i have on today is the same and is oversized like its supposed to be!!
EEEEEEEEEKKKKKKK
Meemz top tip lol - for drinking water with a bit of flavour, if you slice you lemon or lime in slices it gives it alot of zingy flavour / slice it in a wedge and it gives it a more subtle flavour x

DD4 - A Diet Incite
A bit later today :)
Well its DD4 (Diet Day 4) and i feel good!!
Got up this morning feeling great, hopped on the scales ans another 1lb loss (6 3/4lbs total)
I even did a whole house clean, from top to bottom, literally. Even cleaned out the food cupboards and arranged accordingly
Had chicken and cabbage for lunch and struggled to eat it all and if im honest i felt a bit yukk afterwards.
Chilled out on the couch for a bit, then when the shopping came had some herbal tea with sweetener and felt 100%.
Had scrummy steak and apparagus:
100g lean steak
Asparagus
Sprinkle of chilli flakes
Garlic
Pepper
I just browned the steak 30 secs on each side popped on top of the asparagus in a foil pocket and stuck in the oven on a high heat for 25 mins.

DD3 - A Diet incite...
Well as is says about today is DD3 (diet day 3)
Im very proud of myself for getting to day 3, this diet is seriously tough!! although i havent cheated and i dont plan to.
My incentive ( a picture of myself in my bra and shorts) is working looking at that tummy every morning when i wake up is giving me the push i need to get through each day.
So today when i hopped on the scales i'd lost a further 2lbs so that comes to 5 3/4 lbs total.
MEGA CHUFFED!!
Also i took some measurements (well the most important one my tum tum) and ive lost 6inches!!!
Was feeling a bit more hungry after lunch so took the kids to the park, we walked 1.5 miles there and 1.5 miles back. At a snails speed.
Which brings me to a little rant - i mean there are lots of houses here yet the council will not / have not put in a path to the local village, meaning me and my 2 kids had to walk a small grass verge there and back :(
Oi sort it out eh!!

Im also putting lemon slices in my bottled water to give it some more flavour
And im feeling positive...
Hopped on the scales this morning and had a 2lb loss, which is giving me a total of 3. 3/4 lbs loss.

Im a mum and im darn proud of it too!!
Have you ever been in the situation where someone asks you:
"So what do you do?" or "what do you do for a living?"
and the reply "im a full time mum" is answered with... "oh" and that look.
Well here is my reply to there reply and looks, feel free to use it :)
me: so what is it you do for a living??
them: answer (accountant etc)
me: oh yeah im one of them, along with a chef / dietitian , teacher , P.A , chauffeur , dance instructor , personal trainer , cleaner , psychiatrist , chief negotiator , accountant / financial advisor. Health and Safety officer , bodyguard , entertainer , magician , i scare the boogy men, get rid of scarey beasties and i can be anything they want me to be.
I also work 24 hours a day 7 days a week 365 days of the year, with no "time off" , i dont get holiday pay or sick pay / leave.
But what i do is the hardest and most rewarding thing anyone can do - and i still have time to do my hair and make-up and try and look half decent.
But its alright, just call me MUM :)

So go on then lets do book 2 (50 shades Darker)
Another completely open and honest review of the second book in the trilogy - 50 shades darker
So lets go then,
This review is completely my own opinion and written by me ;)
So at the beginning of this book i was already well accustomed with Mr Grey and Miss Steele. Nothing in this book was going to shock and awe me.......or so i thought.
As the second in the series the writer has done perfectly in keep up the raw and intense passion along with the love and anguish felt by both sides. The even distribution of lust and love have began to even themselves out and you can really start to feel "in touch" with some of the characters.
Don't even begin to think this book is less steamy than it predecessor, its not, its really really not.
I was completely lost in this book, even more so than the 1st and found myself breezing through it in a day, with time to spare.
I have to admit though this book was a bit predictable for me, like all love stories there are twists and turns that keep you guessing, and at one point I was a bit like.
heehee ;)
So unlike the first the writer has found her mojo in this one, and it doesn't slow down in the middle for me anymore.
Now i am a soppy mare and slightly hormonal at the best of times, but this book had me in tears on more than one occasion.
Lets some up:
*Would I recommend this book - yes yes ooooh yes, this is not just an erotic trilogy that everyone is raving about anymore, this is a GOOD read.
* Am i going to read the 3rd....pffft please im already 35% through :)
So that's it, thanks for reading and as always please feel free to comment......

Weekends..hmmmm (the death of a diet)
As a massive yoyo dieter the weekends normally spell trouble for me, and my body.
The weekends that hold the rubbish weather are even worse, stuck in the house with 2 bored kids, fed up of crafty stuff and painting for the day, don't want to watch telly nor play the xbox/ds, leads to a stressed out mummy and 2 grumpy kids.
With the kids not being at school i also have to find a daily workout that works with the kids, today it was a top to bottom clean of the house, literally.
The way i figure it is if I'm sweating I'm burning some flab!!
By evening I'm craving wine and munchies, this is not good not good at all :(
So what happened???..... when i felt like i was going to lose it i put on some music and did a workout - at 10pm at night..hahaha
So this is just a little input to some of my fav workout songs and some easy workouts you can do in the home at night without the need of much or any equipment!!
Okay so for £1 from home bargains or the pound store you can buy a skipping rope, mine is lethal!! (love you for buying it though Billy x) its wire wrapped plastic and if you miss, boy you get punished for it ;)
Skipping is sooo simple, but a 10 min skipping workout can equal an hour at the gym!! google it if you don't believe me!!
It can be more difficult than it sounds though, to begin with my stamina was 0 - so i could manage 1 min constant skipping MAX.
Now however its 5 mins, still working my way up to the 10 and i know i'll get there.
You can use skipping as a workout on its own, or as a warm up. I did some good old fasioned star jumps and star jumps with a sort of knee lift.
Dont ditch the good old fashioned workouts from long ago, they worked and as a home workout its free and there is so much you can do.
Star jumps, lunges, burpees, step ups, running on the spot (try this full pelt for 30 secs, it aint easy)
Sit ups, press ups.
These all can be done in a small enough area, with no equipment...bargain!!
I like to have my ipod for music, i like it nice and loud, for motivation and also so i cant hear myself dying (heehee)
So for tonight my workout was mainly to Deadmau5 and the album 4x4=12 - this dj is one of my up most favourites for pushing myself to, the "doof doof"music keeps me going, and when skipping its better for me to have an upbeat ...well beat to work too.
For my "kettle bell" workout ( i don't have a kettle bell, so i make do with 1 of Billy's free weights, with some of the lighter weights on) i was playing ACDC yes that's right..haha i love working out with them.
Again if you dont have weights, anything weighty (lol) will do, heck a tin of beans or a bag of sugar would work perfectly.
I kept with the ACDC for my tummy exercises also (mainly sit ups and sit up twists)
Then onto cool down my song for stretching and cooling down today was Domino and Laserlight by Jessie J - now sing along...yes i know what you are going to say, but singing concentrates your breaking getting it into a regular rhythm again...
Make sure you stretch, we all know the old no pain no gain, but trust me if you dont stretch you will regret it.
And that was it - remember!! WATER WATER WATER!! don't let yourself get dehydrated you will only end up feeling dizzy and sh*tty.
Once cool that's me shower jammies and bed... with laptop to update on here :)
as always feel free to comment.. x

Going for weight loss GOAAAL... **UPDATE**
Just a quick update as to how things are going.
Week 1
My biggest fight this week was food. I know some wont understand this and some will. I had 2 nights where i really really wanted something anything to snack on.....so i did a bottle of water and a piece of mint gum.
I'm not really a water drinker either so that another hurdle I'm beginning to get over. So far each day I'm drinking 3-4 bottles along with 1 or 2 glasses of diluted juice.
Food hmmm yeah foood
Each meal had been planned time wise more than contents wise i have to admit.
So I'm not going to bore you with the exact details of what I've ate down the last micro, but i will give you an idea of what I'm taking in, in case your interested ;)
So breakfast:
Porridge (again something that's new to me, but i love the oat so simple with syrup one, they are yummy)
Bottle of water/glass of water or juice
Lunch:
*Normally sandwich
or
*baked pot
or
*chicken and brown rice
*****WATER*****
(i tend to make lunch my main meal, giving me the afternoon and evening to burn any carbs. )
Little tip i found and quite like - if you have a meal with your partner and they have a full plate - have yours on a side plate, trick of the mind. Your eyes still see a full plate, only its less than half the size!!
Evening meal:
I'm going for the most weight loss i can achieve so its never carbs of any kind.
I'll have a weight loss shake (with soya milk)
A cuppa soup
Or chicken with green beans / peas /any veg you want (except potato)
**WATER WATER***
Another tip...
Before eating any meal, have a glass of water, this will mean that there is something already in your tummy so you will find that you wont eat as much, as you will fill up quicker.
Also chewing gum between meals (low fat mint if poss) helps with hunger pangs and snacking.
Lets face it, water has so many benefits not only for weight loss, but skin and overall well being, drink it up!!
Snacks -
okay by snacks i mean fruit, munch your heart out on as much fruit and veg as you want throughout the day, but i found that eating after 8pm would mean its not getting digested, so i tend to eat nothing after 6pm - 7pm latest.
Exercise!!!
hell yeah!!
I only go for 1hr per day, which might not sound like alot, but when you add in cleaning the house and running around after 2 small kids all day.
Plus i do evening exercise also, not every night but most nights i like to do something.
Okay so I'm working on H.I.T (High Intensity Training) - sounds hard and it is but give it a go please...
My partner introduced me to this, and at first i wasn't sure but now i do it everyday.
I do the bike mostly - so i do 2 mins of a warm up getting everything going, and i do 30 sec bursts of all out fast as i can go (yes you will get looks if its a gym like mine, but i dont care i have my ipod in and I'm here to lose weight not to impress people)
So 30 secs of all out pedal to the meeettttaaaal aaaaaaaahhhhhhh and ease of DONT STOP, ease off back to normal pace for another 2 mins and go again YEEEHHHAAAA.
Tip time: my biggest problem area is my flabby tummy, 3 c-sections have taken there toll. So i like to wear a sweat/sauna band around my mid. You get them on ebay for £3-4 and they just intensify the heat to the mid section whilst you work out.
beware however it is completely rank when you take it off as your tummy is soaked in sweat ewwww.
Lets try and sum this first week up:
A little tough at nights still, but getting alot better (i think my tummy must be shrinking so I'm not feeling the hunger as much)
Exercise can and should be fun - best evening exercise my xbox kinect and dance games (my fav right now is the black eyed peas :))
If you don't have a computer, do anything skipping, step up on the door step, put the music on and jive around like a nutter at a rave for 30 mins, just get the body moving and sweating (i always sweat its gross but means I'm working my body)
the all important WEIGH IN
at the end of week 1 im happy with my progress
21/6/2012....... 11st 8 / 74kg = 6lb loss or 2kg loss
GOAL WEIGHT - 60 kg
as always any comments are more than welcome, thanks for reading

Okay okay okay shut up and let's read it then......
So everyone is talking about this book, you know the one I'm talking about before I even say it.... Yes that's right it's 50 shades of grey.
(picture from google image search)
Well apparently anyone who is anyone is reading these novels.
Now I see myself as a multi genre reader. If its good then I'll read it everything from sci fi novels to crime to fantasy to real life, but I have to admit this will be my first erotic novel.
Now, again apparently this is for my age range, and my... Eh what do u call it.
Anyway it's a big hit with women anyway, it's all over my Facebook from my old work colleagues to my distant bump buddies.
So here goes..... Page 1.... I'm quite a quick reader, so I will see u shorty and let you know what I think.
Ok so just less than 24 hours later and I'm 65% of the way through..
Ideas so far...
Characters are fun, believable to a point, familiar?
The way she has narrated the book is interesting, not convinced i like this way of writing. Sometimes is seems a bit jumbled, and there are a few pages mainly the "contract" that are repeated..
I don't see the need for that if I'm honest.
(note at this point, e-reader book constantly have strange spelling and grammar mistakes throughout, this is very strange).
(note at this point, e-reader book constantly have strange spelling and grammar mistakes throughout, this is very strange).
It is so far as it has been so often described... housewife porn lol.
This book is H.O.T.T hot and explores a different side to a "relationship" so easily offended people may not enjoy it. I however I'm not easily offended, which is just as well.
A good point to note is the fact that its less than 24hrs and I'm more than halfway through, which points to and easy to read and intriguing book, all be it hot sauce and spice
as a mid-way review i shall sum up in: A good read, with plenty of sauce .
we shall see how it unfolds in the last half of the book...
Im dooooone........
Well.. what can i say, it dips slightly in the middle but by the end i was in tears, no i do have to admit I'm a hopeless ball of emotions at the best of times, but i was shocked, if I'm totally honest i can see what the fuss is about now i really honestly and completely can, massive :)
So lets try and some this one up without giving too much away..
An erotic and captivating novel, that also holds a strong romantic love story and a battle between a woman her needs, wants and desires.
Will i be reading the rest of the trilogy.....hell yes.
As always you thoughts and comments are more than welcome....

Sock Piggy ..OIINK OINK
Say HELLO to.......Mr Oink
Another kiddy craft idea - that costs little to 0 money and is super fun to do with you kids x
Items you will need
- an odd sock (at last something to do with them hehe)
- glue
- needle and thread
- buttons or sequins
This isnt the most stunning looking piggy, but was made by mine and my daughters own fair hands
(granted if you are good at sewing yours should come out looking alot better than mine...lol
I followed a simple how to that i found on pintrest...
this is the link to the 10 step how to for sock teddies (hers looks a million times better than mine)
http://themetapicture.com/this-is-how-you-create-a-teddy-bear-from-a-sock/
Follow the 10 steps - change what you feel like changing - as my sock was pink i went for a piggy and used buttons for the eyes and nose.
You don't have to use a plain sock either, mix it up with some spots or stripes, im working on a stripy ted for my son

Kiddy Crafts
So i've been looking at some crafty things to do with the kids on rainy days, which lets face it are becoming more and more as of late, well especially in scotty-land anyways.
So PVA and paints at the ready
3....2.....1..........BLAAAST OFFFFFFFF!!!!!!
This was a pretty simple make, my 5yr old and my 3yr old both loved doing this.
Only things you need:
Empty juice bottles
Old newspaper
PVA glue - mixed 50/50 with water
Kids paints
Glitter or gems /stars
Or stickers
Step 1
Paper mache the bottles until you have covered all the plastic
wait for it to dry :)
Step 2
Paint the rockets any colours you like :)
Wait for the paint to dry
Step 3
Decorate
and again wait for glue to dry,
Total costs - if you have paints and glue etc then nothing, if not.... it cost me less than £10 for ready mixed paints in large bottles, PVA glue and lots of gems and stickers and glitter and stars.

Snug as a bug in a Cowl ......
And here it is all finished,
And on...
was a simple enough stitch, although i've done it a bit big and it hangs lower than i would like, but that can be adjusted.
Not bad for a first attempt i think :)
I do love my big flowers :)
And now.....
On with some granny squares for my blankie

Current Crafty projects :)
As part of my weight loss program i struggle alot with evenings and snacking, so i've taken up knitting and crochet again, more so crochet so far, but im sure there will be knitting in the future.
yes i knit and crochet and no im not 80 - actually im 27 years young.
So a couple of pics of my latest crafty projects.
This is an ongoing project, i use the small amounts of wool/yarn i have left over, i was going to do all stripes, but have decided to go patch work and add in some rows of granny squares...... and whatever else i can think of to "mix it up" a bit...
This is the 1st of many, they are large squares but nice and quick to make up..
And my latest one, this will be a cowl with a large, a very large flower, hopefully it will come out looking as i have in my head.
The shell stitch is a new one to me, you gotta love youtube for that.
I am completely self taught in both knitting and crochet, of which i am very proud!!
Please feel free to comment, and or leave suggestions for my throw/blanket

So this is it, its has been decided......
No more messing around, no more sneaking about
DIET..... BRINNNG IT OOOOOOOON!!!!!!
I have been constantly battling with my weight for pffft too long. Ive used every single excuse in the book, to name a few:
* Its harder for me to loose this weight as all 3 of my children were c-sections.
* I'll start tomorrow
* that's it I'm defo starting this weight loss for good this time
* I can only do a little as i have kids
* I cant eat diet food as I'm on a budget
* ahh but its the weekend, I'll be good again on Monday
* but i love food
So this is it, I've removed those rose tinted glasses and im moving on!! and upwards (well feeling wise, weight wise i want dooownwards)
Im very lucky to have a lovely man who supports the fatty me and the skinny me.
My struggle is going to be keeping the weight off. I tend to fluctuate not in a couple of pounds but in half stones
:O i know
So lets do this, its gonna be hard but im sure i'll get there.
Blogger readers .... beware there may be some serious ranting going on.
OKAY..

GOAL WEIGHT - 60kgs

Parenthood is hard
Yeah so today is Saturday, i.e day 1 of trying to find something to do with your children that is fun and hopefully cheap or free.
In our town that is even harder there is nothing to do here, sure there is a community centre, where there is a play area costing £4 per child, however on the weekends they limit the time you are allowed in the play area to 45 mins.
So yeah for 45 mins the kids are happy wooooo :)
Next in the same building we have the local swimming pool, which was soooo cold last time i was in there it winded me, yeah you did read that right it winded me, I almost had hypothermia. I mean cooome on its the only public swimming pool in the town, therefore all the kids learn to swim there and they cant even upgrade it to a heated swimming pool. We live in the north east of Scotland, you cant have a swimming pool that's not heated in the winter here!!! URRGH and then they wonder why there is little to no mums go to the mum and baby classes, cause after 5 mins in that water your lips are blue that's why!!
Anyways that is what i did, we went and met our friend and went to the play area.
After 45 mins and two very exhausted and out of breath children later we headed home.
another question - sunny Scotland - honestly i don't think so.
Moving on to tomorrow, what am i going to do with them tomorrow, if it was like today where it was so foggy you couldn't see the hand in front of your face, never mind the icicles hanging from your nose, I'm stuck.
Options....
1 - drive 45 mins away to the local car bootsale, where i will probably only spend about 10 mins before leaving as there is nothing there.
2 - go to the "local" park. My actual local park has 2 swings and a chute, therefore on the weekends you pretty much have to que for the swings and chute. So again another 10-15 minute drive to a decent park (good point - park is free and not time restricted).
3 - stay at home, let them play in the garden if its nice and generally watch t.v and have a pj day (not gonna happen lol)
I know already the only option is going to have to be the park.......yaaaaay lol
RANT OVER :)
I love being a mum, at times i have to admit it stresses me out slightly, but if it didn't i guess it wouldn't be "normal"
Yes my kids can be loud, yes my kids do argue sometimes, but guess what...THEY'RE KIDS!!! get over it and move on.
I hate living where there is nothing to do, like noting ever. Even if i didn't have kids there is nothing in less than a 30 - 45 minute drive away, or even 2-3 hours.
If you told me at 15 that by time i was 26 i would of had 3 kids, been through the grief and trauma of losing a child at age 2.5 years, and still was here living my life and loving my kids more everyday (granted not all day everyday, i have at times left the room and screamed into my pillow) i would never of believed you, but here i am, trying to do my best and bring up my kids to the best of my ability.

My baby girl is growing up :)
Today we celebrated my daughters 5th birthday :)
I cant believe she is 5 already, it just seems like yesterday she was born. We looked back through her baby pictures and spoke about the various family members in them.
She was a very lucky girl and got 2 birthdays this year, as dad is offshore for her birthday. What a lucky girl 2 sets of prezzie opening days!!!
On another note, i think the diet is going well, this week. I dont get to weight myself until Sunday so hopefully its gonna be a decent loss this week, fed up of being a bloater to say the least!!
